Who Did Jesus Love?
He loved His friends – Lazarus
He loved those who served Him – The woman who anointed Him with perfume
He loved those who followed Him – The disciples
He loved those who did not – The rich young ruler
He loved the unlovely – The paralytic
He loved the untouchable – The leper
He loved sinners – The adulteress
He loved those who hated Him – Jerusalem
However, the most difficult one for me to digest, is that He loved those for whom He died – You & Me
Jesus lived for two reasons – To Love and to Die
He died so that we would not suffer the sting of death, but that we would reap the bountiful blessings of a full and eternal life, found only in Him!
